Is it terribly vain to think that anyone would read what I write? Am I doing this because of a deep-seated need to express myself, or am I merely seeking validation? And what about this whole mommy-blogverse trend? Has the navel-gazing of my generation of mothers gone too far?

No answers here, just a desire to test the journaling waters a bit.
